PEOSH – Healthy Working Lives Week

Held in conjunction with and with kind the permission of: Peterborough Regional College

As part of Safety Groups UK, healthy working lives campaign, PEOSH will be working with Peterborough Regional College to present a series of 5 x 90 minute workshops to this year’s intake of apprentices. Running between the 29th September and the 3rd October, the workshops are designed to highlight the importance of remaining healthy right from the very beginning of the apprentices working lives.

The workshops will cover a number of areas, including, the pitfalls of ignoring health issues at work, the increased pressure and resulting stress related illness that workload and unrealistic expectations can create, through to the perils of using mobile phones whilst driving.

Three or Four members of PEOSH will be on hand at each workshop to give advice, support and to answer any questions the apprentices may have, both now and into the future.

PEOSH are delighted to be given the opportunity to work with PRC and feel this could be a very important step towards ensuring future generations avoid the health problems of past
Generations.
